We provide a Qualitative 3M N95 Mask Fit test for groups.
This Respirator Protection Training session is focused on the importance of proper respirator protection, the selection of the appropriate mask for the workplace, an inspection of the mask, proper mask donning and doffing and seal test, and cleaning and storage of the masks.
We conduct fit tests with 3M N95 8210,1860,8200, 8110S, 1870+, AND 1860S masks at present time.
Each test will take 10-15 minutes to complete.
Procedure
To receive a certificate, the participant must be able to successfully pass the administered taste test requiring the candidates to demonstrate how to properly don/doff the mask, do seal checks, and how complete general care and maintenance of the respirator.
A candidate is fit tested to a particular make and model of the respirator. If the employer changes respirators a new fit test must be done. The Ontario Ministry of Labour also requires you must be re-certified for respirator mask fit testing every 2 years.
Our charges
We charge $50.00 plus tax per individual test. We have purchased masks for a higher price. We also use disposable hoods per person. For groups of 10 or more people, please contact us. we charge $40.00 plus tax per person if you come with a correct size N95 mask. Please pay before the test date.
Preparation for the MASK FIT TEST
You must not smoke, eat, chew gum, or drink any liquids (except water) at least 15 minutes before the test, to ensure an accurate, successful respirator mask fit test (All types of masks).
