Medical or Family Emergencies

We understand that emergencies don't follow a 7-day notice window, which is why these situations are handled individually rather than under the standard cancellation tiers above.

Medical or family emergencies are handled case-by-case at First 2 Aid Inc.'s discretion. Supporting documentation (such as a doctor's note) may be requested. Rescheduling or fee waivers will be considered, but are not guaranteed — each situation is reviewed on its own merits.

Example: If you're hospitalized the morning of your course, contact us as soon as you're able — we'll review the circumstances and let you know what's possible, but we can't promise a specific outcome in advance.

Related: see Participant Cancellation for the standard notice-based tiers this policy is an exception to.

Q: Will I automatically get a refund for a medical emergency?

No — it's reviewed case-by-case, and documentation may be requested. A waiver isn't guaranteed, but we do take genuine emergencies seriously.
