No-Show Policy

A no-show is different from a cancellation: it means missing a course entirely without telling us in advance.

No attendance without prior notice is treated as a no-show. In this case, no refund is issued, and the full course fee is forfeited unless the participant chooses to reschedule (subject to the applicable rescheduling fee).

Example: If you register for a Tuesday CPR course and simply don't show up without contacting us beforehand, that's a no-show — different from cancelling the day before, which still gets you into the "less than 72 hours" cancellation tier at least.

Related: see Participant Cancellation if you know in advance you can't attend — even last-minute notice is treated more favorably than a no-show.

Q: Is a no-show the same as a late cancellation?

No. A late cancellation (under 72 hours) still forfeits the fee but is documented and can sometimes be discussed under Medical or Family Emergencies. A no-show has no such consideration unless you reach out afterward.
